The main research directions of the Department

• Laboratory and field tests, operational and testing of agricultural machines and devices, both domestic and imported,
• Study, design and construction works on new solutions for agricultural machines and devices, improvement of their working teams and methods of use in various working conditions,
• Laboratory and field research on modern systems of automatic control of the working processes of machines for harvesting crops.
• New machines in pro-ecological, multifunctional forest management – research on operational efficiency, ergonomic research and improvement of selected design solutions.
• Improving technological processes in forestry with the use of simulation modeling. The impact of forest infrastructure on the effectiveness of the implementation of technological processes.
• Research on machines and technological processes used to obtain wood for energy purposes.
• Forest work management systems in the conditions of multifunctional forest management, implemented with the use of modern IT techniques (e.g. numerical maps, satellite positioning systems).
