Position for recording digital images

The stand includes an RSX reproduction tripod, equipped with a graduated plate and an RTX column with a handle, enabling smooth adjustment of the height of the camera or photo camera above the object. The tripod is placed on a table, equipped with legs with individual height adjustment and a light control box. The tripod lighting consists of two gutter spotlights, mounted on articulated joints to the column base. The lamps enable the effect of soft light and are equipped with light scattering filters, four (2 × 2) compact daytime fluorescent fluorescent lamps with a color temperature of 5400K, 36 W each and 1A color reproduction (DIN 5035) Ra = 90-100 . A separate, mobile element of the station is the Medalight shadowless photography table, model: MDSK-1 (Mini-Digital Studio Kit). The table is equipped with a profiled plate made of white polycarbonate, which evenly diffuses the light, four fluorescent lamps with a diffuser, providing upper lighting (FL48 – 1 item, 880 lx), side lighting (FL-32 – 2 items, 520 lx) and lower lighting (FL-48 + FL-32 – 1 item, 520lx and 880lx) with a power of 48 W and 32 W, respectively, and a color temperature of 5000 K, as well as lamp power supplies, lamp stands, camera or camcorder, extension arms for overhead lighting and tilt handles that allow for smooth adjustment of the inclination of the lamps in three directions. The station is also equipped with a Canon diode flatbed scanner, model CanoScan 5600F, designed for scanning reflective materials. The device is equipped with a 6-line color CCD sensor, a bright, white LED diode and a 48-bit input and output (16 bits for each RGB color). Images can be recorded in any color space (depending on the capabilities of the graphics card of the cooperating computer) with a maximum resolution of 4800 × 9600 dpi. The device works with the MP Navigator EX 2.0 software, which enables its remote operation.

Ultrasonic measurement station

The stand is equipped with an OPBOX v2 ultrasonic flaw detector (Optel Polska) and two heads generating ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 2MHz. The measuring station is adapted to the measurement of liquids, but it can also be used for solids. The measured quantities are the wave propagation velocity and the damping factor. They can be correlated with properties such as e.g. density, temperature, concentration, viscosity.
The research carried out at this position was carried out for fruit and vegetable juices. Their scope included the determination of the relationship between the wave velocity and the damping coefficient and the temperature, concentration of the solid phase, thermal treatment, juice storage, and the origin of the raw materials for its preparation.
